CB24 (Channel Bank)

Image

Rhino Equipment is the manufacturer of the ever-popular Rhino Channel Bank.
  • Rhino Channel Banks are fully compatible with not only Asterisk but any standard T1 equipment. They support either 24 FXS or FXO channels, or a combination with their modular bank. In addition to 24 analog channels, they support V.35 data on channelized T1s. The units are quickly configured using AutoT1™ through their 4x40 LCD that displays real-time status of the unit, T1, and analog channels. The units support either 110V, 220V, or -48V input power and with their custom brackets are both rack-mountable (2U) in 19" and 23" racks, and wall-mountable. All neccesary cables and documentation are included.
  • There are currently 3 models: a 24 channel FXS, a 24 channel FXO, and a modular unit with each card incrementing either 4 FXS or FXO channels. All work great with Asterisk and are quite popular due to their easy, self-configuration. If you get stuck, their technical support is more than willing to help, no matter where you purchased from.
  • It is important to make sure you are running the latest firmware as some distributors will buy the banks and store them for many months while in the meantime Rhino has made improvements or fixes in subsequent firmware. The upgrade process is painless and their support is more than willing to talk you through it if you need assitance.

Ceros

Image

  • Managing your open source telecommunication needs has never been easier than with Rhino products. Ceros provides instant credibility to your Value Added Reseller (VAR) product line, by providing an unmarked PC chassis that is simply customized by editing a simple four line by 40 character text file. The text in the file is displayed on the LCD at all times for your customers to visually identify your own branded PBX product.
  • Knowing that Rhino products are ready to perform right out of the box means that you can spend more time developing important customer relationships. Ceros comes preloaded with Liniux and Asterisk, along with all the necessary configurations for the specific installed Rhino hardware. All that is needed is to customize extensions and other outside system environment configurations.
  • The Ceros chassis was designed with VARs in mind. The chassis comes with no external markings or silkscreening, and comes shipped in two cartons — an outside carton that can be discarded so that a pristine, inside carton can be cleanly shipped to your end customer.
  • Rhino Equipment Corp. offers you a complete line of low cost PCI plug-in cards including Single T1/E1, Dual T1/E1, Quad T1/E1, Quad FXO analog, Octal FXS/FXO and 24-port analog mixed mode analog interfaces. And donât forget the full line of Rhino Channel Bank products, for large scale analog FXS or FXO applications.
  • Rhino designed products are tough. In the rare case of trouble, our technical support staff is ready to give you the support you need, when you need it. Our 5-year, limited warranty means that you can be confident that Rhino will always work hard in your Open Source Telephony application.

Excellent Service & Support

by dayhox on Monday 21 of November, 2005 [17:42:36 UTC]
The guys from Rhino have brought my Asterisk Installation to full life. The guys at Rhino walked me through some problems I was having getting my analog DIDs to register and work properly with the Telco. They first sent out a different Channel Bank (went from 24 FXO to modular FXO/FXS) for me to use so that I could power the lines. Then they rewrote the firmware specifically for my application and rewrote it to fine tune the whole system. Then their Dialing plan Guru helped me see the fault of my dialplan and made the necessary changes. Sean, Jim and Bryce went beyond their means to help me out. By far the best customer service I have ever had with a piece of hardware. I highly recommend the Rhino Channel Bank and the Rhino Equipment Corp. Team. Thanks again guys.
